I am an editor and reporter for Quorum Report, the state's largest political newsletter and subscription news service. I am the architecture and urbanism writer for the Fort Worth Weekly. I also frequently write about culture and politics for D Magazine Texas Jewish Post, Dallas Voice and others. I was Dallas Voice staff writer and calendar editor. Before that, I was a reporter and assistant editor at Truthout.org. I have also worked at a land trust, for a think tank and state representative, and sold shoes, cleaned kitchens, waited tables and even served as a youth minister.
