I wrote a report for Truthout a few years ago about a conference in Washington, D.C. organized around the Supreme Court’s infamous Citizens United decision. While I was actually in D.C. with Witness Against Torture, the event organizer found and offered me a press pass and exclusive access to anyone there. How could a cub reporter say no? It’s still one of my favorite pieces. I love the voice. So I’m happy to discover that it was cited in Burt Hall’s Google e-book The Right Wing Threat to Democracy: The Undoing of American Exceptionalism.
This is more exciting when The Nation‘s publisher Katrina vanden Heuvel retweeted my exclusive breaking news story about the US Conference of Mayors unanimously calling for an end to wars in the Middle East.
